Methodology
The HYOD Enterprises methodologies stem from our knowledge, experience and capabilities in the following core competencies. Our experience with our customers have been that unless one has the indepth knowledge of the discipline, and the elements which comprise the skill sets, it is near impossible: 1) to establish a baseline understanding of the client's objectives, 2) to plan an approach which takes into account the ancilliary activities which impact or affect the effort, and 3) to provide for internal measuring of progress and audit for compliance.
Spiral Development
There is an adage that "the shortest distance between two points is
a straight line" and that is a very two dimensional way of thinking. If one took that "straight line" and turned it into three dimensions it would be a tube which is formulated through the directed motion of a particle in spiral progression - reflective of an iterative process. It combines the top-down and bottoms- up view of the design and development process and is a systems approach to managing projects and programs. It takes into account conceptualization, the review of options, the internal inputs, external forces and unknowns, and pulsing the user community as it progresses on its course. Spiral development is as natural as a dandelion seed floating to the ground or as intense as a tornado rushing through the plains. HYOD Enterprises applies spiral principals to manage its projects in an iterative process and permits for adoption of new data/technology, updates in public opinion and legislation, as well as user feedback.
Visualization
At one time it was thought that only 15% of the population applied kinesthetics as a means for learning and communication. That has changed dramatically with the use of computers and the large variety of software packages available to present visually what one is trying to convey. More and more a picture is worth a thousand words; couple that with the proper introduction and conclusion and whole ideas can be taught, explained, and adopted in moments. HYOD Enterprises services are not linear, we provide a product and deliver a new way to see the situation - with insight and knowledge.
